In the early 1980's, a new Theme Park was to be built near Corby, Northamptonshire. It was to be called "Wonder World", and one of the themed areas of the park was going to be based on the 1950's Dan Dare universe. The model below shows how it might have looked. Sadly, the park never got built.

Here is a collage of images of Dan Dare's personal spaceship "Anastasia". The two small images at top right show the ship in its two different flight configurations, with its swing-wings extended and swept back. The small image below them is from the 1986 Commodore 64 Dan Dare computer game. The image at bottom right is from the 2002 computer-generated Dan Dare TV series. The image above that is one of the 1950's Calvert's Dan Dare tooth powder cards. The rest of the images are from the 1950's and 60's era of the Dan Dare "Eagle" series.
